Teri graduated from the University of Northwestern in 1994 and worked in the field of youth ministries for several years teaching, speaking and serving students and young adults. Teri has been married to Bruce since 1996 and they have 5 young adult children. Teri came back to work at UNW in 2014.

When Teri is not at work, she enjoys time with her family and friends. She enjoys traveling to visit her out of state college kids, hiking in parks, beautiful walks around the lakes of Minnesota and reading. She also really enjoys walking along side people as a mentor or spiritual companion, listening and supporting them as they seek God in their journey.

I came to University of Northwestern with a background in ministry, customer service, and travel. Since working at Northwestsern, I have had the joy of working with Churches, Parents, Alumni, and I continue to use these connections and experience while working as the Assistant Director of Non-Traditional Admissions.

Following high school, I earned my B.A. degree from University of Northwestern in Christian Education. Then taking a step of faith in 2009, I went back to school to get my certificate in American Sign Language.

While balancing work, family, and ministry I saw how moving ahead with additional education opened new doors that only God could have foreseen. I understand the step of faith it takes to start a degree as an adult and I look forward to assisting others on this same journey!

Outside of Northwestern, I love spending time with my husband, Tim, who is also a graduate from Northwestern. We enjoy spending time with our adult children, Micah and Kelsey, serving at our church, and connecting with friends.
