Jamie Carlson has loved history since childhood, and has never outgrown her interest in the humanities. She has been involved in academic pursuits and the life of the mind in various capacities since her college education—including writing, teaching, tutoring, lecturing, academic administration, and curriculum development. She grew up under the big skies of Montana, but has now lived among the lakes of Minnesota for over twenty years. She spends her free time with her husband and young family, and, when she finds a quiet moment, loves to read history, theology, and murder mysteries.
