Bicycles, Skateboards, and In-Line Skates

University of Northwestern is designated as a pedestrian campus with the safety and welfare of the campus community in mind. Bicycles, skateboards, and in-line skates must be operated under control at all times and are not permitted in any building. Violation of this policy may result in confiscation of the equipment and disciplinary action. Pedestrians always have the right of way on campus.

Parking Permit Refunds

Parking permit refunds are given at the end of each quad. To obtain a refund for your parking permit, you must detach it from your vehicle and present it at the Public Safety office. The refund will appear on your statement. No refunds are given after 3rd quad.

Additional policies are addressed in the student handbook distributed to new students each year during new student orientation and posted online for continuing students.
