“I thank my God in all my remembrance of you,”

These words from Paul in Philippians 1:3 (ESV) reflect his deep love for the people God had placed in his life. He wrote them while longing to be reunited with fellow believers.

How often do you think about the people who helped shape your faith? How often do you thank God for them? The friends you worshipped with, laughed with, studied with—people who made your college experience what it was. For many of us, those friendships were more than temporary. They helped form who we are today.

This June, we’re giving you the chance to reconnect during our first-ever Reunion Weekend. Our theme—Return. Relive. Renew.—captures what we hope the weekend will be for you.

Return.

College is a place that prepares us to move out, move on, and move forward. After graduation, we head off into the world—following God’s call into our families, careers, and communities. That’s the goal. But while we’re building our lives, it’s easy to forget just how deeply we were shaped by the people and experiences from our college years.

Coming back to Northwestern offers something special. It’s a chance to return to a place that helped build your faith. In the Bible, God’s people often returned to important places as reminders of what He had done. They even built ebenezers—stones of remembrance—to mark where God showed up in powerful ways.

Northwestern is one of those places for many of us. Whether it was a late-night talk in the dorms, a chapel message that spoke right to our hearts, or a professor’s encouragement—this campus became holy ground.

Return to remember God’s faithfulness.

Relive.

We can’t turn back the clock, but we can relive the best parts of college life. During Reunion Weekend, you’ll get to attend chapel, laugh with old friends, walk through familiar halls, and even meet classmates you never met.

When we were in college, community happened every day—in our dorms, in classes, in ministry, and in shared meals. That kind of connection is hard to find in everyday adult life. Reunion Weekend gives you a chance to experience it again.

Relive the memories and relationships that helped shape your story.

Renew.

Reunion isn’t just about looking back—it’s also about being refreshed for what’s ahead. Hebrews 10:24–25 (ESV) reminds us:
And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together…but encouraging one another.”

That’s exactly what we hope this weekend will be: a time to encourage one another, to be reminded of the hope we have in Christ, and to renew your walk with the Lord.

Worship together. Reconnect with others who love Jesus. Hear stories of God’s continued work in the lives of Northwestern alumni.

Renew your spirit through friendship, worship, and reflection.

We hope you’ll join us June 27–29 for Reunion Weekend. God is still working in and through this community. Come and see what He’s doing. Be encouraged as you Return, Relive, and Renew.
