2. Twins Game at Target Field (9.3 miles from campus)
Are you an avid sports fan? Then don’t miss your chance to experience a game at Target Field. Grab your tickets and gather a group of friends for an evening under the lights.

3. Como Park Zoo & Conservatory (5.3 miles from campus)
Just a few miles from campus, explore Como Park Zoo & Conservatory. From wild animals to beautiful gardens and grounds, a mini golf course and an amusement park, this place offers something for everyone. It’s open 365 days a year and admission is free; however, donations are accepted

4. Minnehaha Falls (12.6 miles from campus)
Get away from the city and enjoy a little nature at Minnehaha Falls. Have a picnic in the park, hike in the falls, and go for a light swim in the creek. It makes for a perfect day!
5. St. Paul Farmers’ Market (10.4 miles from campus)
Looking for fresh produce and local goods? The Saint Paul Farmers’ Market is the perfect weekend activity. Explore a variety of local food vendors, fresh flowers, and homegrown produce!
6. Skyline Mini Golf (10.4 miles from campus)

From deep-fried cheese curds to fresh-squeezed lemonade, state fair season is upon us. This is the best way to eat specialty food, watch live shows, and walk more miles than you can count. It’s a Minnesota tradition that everyone should experience at least once in their life.
9. Parkside Picnic (Various distances)
Pack a lunch, grab a friend or two, and get away from the city at one of the many parks in the area. It’s a simple, refreshing way to enjoy God’s creation whether you’re walking the trails or soaking up the sun.

If you’re looking for a sweet treat after dinner or something to cool down on a hot day, there are a plethora of options in the Twin Cities. Enjoy delicious soft serve at Cup and Cone, a classic that has been around since 1973. If you’re looking for dietary friendly ice cream, MN Ice Cream is the place to go. They offer unique dairy and gluten—free options that everyone will enjoy!
