Rebecca Schultz received her undergraduate degrees at Augsburg University, graduating with a double major,: Bachelor of Music in education, and Bachelor of Science in music therapy. She continued her education at Crown College, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in elementary education, including a middle school language arts endorsement. Rebecca currently holds a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership, as well as ABD status towards her Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Bethel University.

She is deeply committed to creating classrooms where every child feels seen, supported, and inspired to learn. Her passions include building strong partnerships with parents to nurture children’s literacy, using flexible seating to create inviting and adaptable learning spaces, and helping close the learning gap for students receiving free and reduced lunch. She is especially dedicated to ensuring diversity is meaningfully represented in children’s literature and classroom libraries, and she weaves social-emotional learning (SEL) into her teaching to help students grow both academically and personally.

When she’s not teaching, Rebecca enjoys reading, buying new books, playing piano, and taking long walks with her dog Mikko. The weekends are often filled with visits from her three little granddaughters or quality time with friends and family.
