Professor Fox joined the Northwestern faculty in 2023. Professor Fox believes that learning about writing and words is also to learn about life, and she delights in teaching writing in its many forms to the rising generation of artists and wordsmiths. She earned an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Central Florida and holds a BA from Wheaton College (IL) where she studied English and Bible. Professor Fox also serves as the faculty advisor for Inkstone, UNW’s journal of student literature and art, which is published twice each year. Her own writing frequently explores themes of memory and belonging, doubt and faith through the lenses of literary fiction and fabulism.
