Johana Garcia Matienzo

Prof. Garcia was born in Lima, Peru, and spent most of her life there. During her university studies she majored in translation and interpreting with a focus on English and French. After graduation she moved to Minnesota, where she works as a teacher. She sees education as a meaningful way to serve others–she enjoys getting to know people and always looks for opportunities to reflect Christ’s love and be a light in the lives of those around her. Johana also loves being a bridge between different cultures, helping people understand each other and fostering connection through language.
