Brandon T. Lutterman is a ceramic sculptor and educator with over 15 years of experience teaching in the studio arts. He holds an MFA from Kansas State University and teaches art history at the University of Northwestern – St. Paul, while also instructing in ceramics and sculpture at Saint Thomas Academy.
Lutterman’s interdisciplinary studio practice blends ceramics, painting, and drawing to explore themes grounded in nature, spirituality, and historical narrative. His work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, with recent exhibitions in Brazil, Canada, and throughout the United States. He has received multiple honors for his sculpture, including several first-place awards in juried exhibitions.
Beyond the classroom and studio, Lutterman has served as a facility director, gallery director, and program coordinator. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the National K-12 Ceramic Exhibition Foundation. Dedicated to both creative practice and education, he cultivates a dynamic, inquiry-driven learning environment that bridges historical context and contemporary expression.
