Health Services

Health Services is dedicated to providing high quality, cost effective, personal and convenient health care to our students. To avoid encumbrance on academic progress, we are here to come alongside students in times of illness, injury, and mental health needs, while we work to educate, support and encourage our students to cultivate healthy lifestyles now and into the future.

UNW Health Services is funded in part by a health fee. Health Services staff work hard to provide you with quality health care without any additional cost. However, certain immunizations, prescription medications, tests, and medical equipment will be billed to their student account. Students will be advised of the cost before they are billed.

Students are financially responsible for all off-campus laboratory testing, x-rays, etc., and any care rendered at an off-campus medical facility.
