ST. PAUL, Minn., December 17, 2025 – For the fourth year in a row, 98.5 KTIS is supporting families in the Twin Cities community through Christmas Blessing, providing tangible help for those struggling with family tragedies, financial difficulties, or other challenges.
This year to date, nearly 900 people came forward to nominate an individual or family for a Christmas Blessing, and the KTIS team selected 11 of those to receive items or services they need most, such as help paying for groceries or home services, a family outing, or simply some gifts under the tree.
Through Christmas Blessing, KTIS also gets to tell the stories of these amazing families and individuals: José, a dad who has worked tirelessly to turn his life around and support his family; and Blake and Amy, parents of a little boy named Crue who passed away when he was only four years old.

Throughout its duration, KTIS has blessed 47 families in various ways, and this year, they are opening it up to the UNW and Northwestern Media communities to surprise and delight nominees who weren’t selected for the larger Christmas Blessing.
