Tim Hagen

Mr. Hagen has 40 years of experience working as a chip and board level design engineer for a variety of companies including two startups, one that he co-founded. As a designer, his focus was on networking, embedded systems, and high-speed serial interfaces. Mr. Hagen was the architect and lead designer for the world’s first gigabit capable router. He also did pioneering work on early hardware assist for deep packet inspection to enable quality of service (QoS) processing.
