Professor Nippert comes to the University of Northwestern – St. Paul after spending 21 years serving clients in the Banking and Capital Markets industry as a Managing Director in the regulatory consulting practice of Deloitte LLP, helping institutions solve challenges around organizational design, data and algorithmic risk, and financial process control and optimization. Recently, Professor Nippert was an adjunct professor at Concordia University – St. Paul teaching data ethics and analytics. He earned undergraduate degrees in economics and finance from the University of Minnesota – Duluth and his MBA from the University of St. Thomas.
