Student Life at Northwestern

Here at the University of Northwestern, we are welcoming you to join us on a journey - a quest to live the abundant life that Jesus came to give. Here you will find fellow travelers, a family of believers who are not satisfied with anything less than what Jesus has to offer.

Admitted Students

Admitted students, you are already one of our family! We want to help you with your next steps - learn what they are here.

Discipleship. Relationship. Leadership. Outreach.

Northwestern seeks to create a place where you are able to meet Jesus, to follow Him closely, and to become like Him. We do this through intentional life together - living together, worshipping together, praying together, learning together. Being together. This happens in the dorms, in chapel, through mentorships, and many other opportunities.

The Northwestern community is a family - a group of people specifically joined together by God, to know each other and be known, to belong, to celebrate life, to take sanctuary with one another!

From the fun of student activities and clubs, to the deep and significant experience of growing cultural awareness, Northwestern provides numerous opportunities for you to belong to our family and the family of God.

At Northwestern we believe that life in Christ and leadership are inseparable, and it is a mission of ours to help you discover your unique gifts in order to influence the people and circumstances around you, both now and in the future.

We have over 200 positions of student leadership, alongside the Leadership Development Program, all designed to help you discover where you belong in leadership.

We want to help you "be where you're at." At Northwestern we view our lives, individually and collectively, as "On Mission", and it is our aim to come alongside you as you look to influence your home, church, community, and the world.
