Faculty member since 2011
Dan Leverence attended Indiana Wesleyan University where he earned Bachelor of Science degrees in Church Music and Vocal Performance and met his wife, Angie. They have one son, Tate Temesgen, who was born in Ethiopia and joined their family in May 2011.
Since college, he has served in full-time vocational ministry at churches in southern California, West Michigan, and Minneapolis. As part of the staff at Constance Free Church, Dan oversees the Creative Arts Ministry and loves encouraging artists to use their abilities for God's glory. He has recorded several albums and has been blessed with some unique musical opportunities—including the opportunity to organize and lead a 1000-voice choir for Michael W. Smith's concert in the Twin Cities.
In his spare time, Dan enjoys keeping up with pop culture and technology, music, bicycling and anything that allows him to be creative. Dan also makes himself available for ministry to the greater Christian community by consulting with other vocational arts ministry leaders and teaching vocal master classes to church vocal teams.
