Dawn Kilian

Adjunct Professor, Christian Counseling and Human Services

Dawn Kilian has been serving as an adjunct professor in the Graduate & Continuing Education Program, teaching both undergraduate and graduate level courses, since 2008. In addition, she has developed curriculum for both undergraduate and graduate level courses. Having an active part in establishing curriculum for course development has truly been a rewarding part of her teaching experience because it has allowed her the opportunity to integrate Christian spirituality with counseling while keeping the academic needs of her students in mind.

Kilian is a co-owner with her a husband of Paraclete Psychological Services in Shoreview, Minn., a private practice for psychotherapy and professional life coaching. Prior to Northwestern, she spent 11 years in ministry.
