Exciting Summer Opportunities at University of Northwestern!
(Fomerly known as Do, Re for Me)
Join other children (ages 3-9) for a week of Music and Movement, including listening to a variety of music, playing classroom instruments, and drawing to music. Students will be exploring the connection between music and movement, incorporating nature walks, storytelling, concert listening, singing, and much more!
The Northwestern Piano Institute, July 28-August 2, 2014, is designed for those between 11-18 years old who wish to take their piano playing abilities to the next level. Students will be challenged, motivated, and encouraged in their piano studies while enjoying the companionship of other students who share the same love for the piano.
Taking place the week of July 14-18, 2014, for youth ages 10-18 years old, this camp will include choreography, musical rehearsals, and vocal coaching and conclude each day with a large group rehearsal session. Students will also receive a complimentary T-shirt for the final exciting performance.
Learn the basics of how to play the guitar as a solo and an accompaniment instrument. The group lesson setting is ideal for those who have always wanted to play and a nice way to begin experience as a guitarist. Each 45 minute session will consist of scales, chords, history and music theory.
